Recipe: Chocolate Peanut Butter Popcorn


Popcorn is a favorite snack of mine, so this is definitely one of my go-to recipes. This is a quick & easy recipe that is not only filled with protein, but also tastes great. Perfect for anyone who enjoys sweet & salty combinations.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Popcorn

-70g Popcorn Kernels (I Prefer Yellow over White)

-24g Powdered Peanut Butter (2 servings of PB2)

-1 Scoop or 25-30g Protein Powder (I typically use Chocolate or Cookies & Cream)

-20g Cooking Oil (Coconut, Canola, Vegetable, etc.)

-Water

-Salt

 1. Heat a large pot over medium heat. Add both cooking oil and popcorn kernels

2. While popcorn is popping, add protein powder and powdered peanut butter into a small bowl. SLOWLY add water while mixing. You are looking to create a consistency similar to cake/brownie batter.

3. Once popcorn is completely popped, pour into a large bowl and add you protein peanut butter mixture. Coat popcorn by mixing with a large spoon. Add salt to taste.
